What is knee pain?
In general pain around the front part of the knee is called knee pain.  Normally person who is suffering from knee pain face difficulties to make movements like sit, walk, climbing stairs etc., knee pains and joint pains troubles person a lot will not allow moving because of extreme pains.  Knee pain is basically two types. Temporary knee pain and continuous knee pain.  Temporary knee pain may vanish after some time, but continuous knee pain will not go without proper treatment.

Knee pain symptoms
Chewing or some kind of noise from knee.
Feeling week in legs particularly knee area and uncomfortable or painful.
Unable to stretch or fold legs.
Hardness, swelling
Continuous pain.

Causes of knee pain
There may be so many reasons for knee pain also known as Osteoarthritis (knee joint disease).  However we will most vital reasons in this blog.
Deterioration of Joint – Due to age factor it is common reason for knee pain in most of people over and above 40 years age.
Physical injuries – Physical injuries on legs particularly on knee pans may also reason to develop chronical knee pain.
Bone Cancer – Bone cancer creates and develops knee pain
Over climbing – Over climbing of steps / stair cases may cause of knee pain over a long period.
Incorrect position – while doing any activity or work need to maintain correct position else will lead to knee pain.
Over weight – Over weight is one of the major reason causing knee pain.
Old injuries – If you have old injuries then you need to be very careful else there will be chances of attacking of knee pain.
Weak muscle strength – lacking of muscle strength also may cause you to developing knee pain.

Pain relief tips
Until unless your knee pain is troubling you continuously, you need not worry much.  But you can take care of your temporary pain by following below mentioned tips.
-          Change or replace your shoes as frequently as possible (before the shoe sole becoming hard enough).
-          Use shoes with good cushion and comfort.
-          Avoid trunk / hard roads as much as possible.  Hard surface may create injuries to your knees.
-          Please do not do sudden and rigorous exercise, start and end with warming up exercises.
-          Avoid hard sports like volley ball, football, basketball etc., whichever the sport you feel hard.
-           

 Knee surgery / Knee pain treatment
If you feel continuous knee pain, when you walk feel piercing pain and feeling like burning in knees, then it is time for you to get your knees undergo proper treatment.  At this stage please do not make any delay or don’t try to apply your own treatments or home care.  But you must visit doctor on high priority.
Treatment of knee pain needs to be taken with very special care.  Treatment will vary depends on your cause of knee pain.  Not only have the treatment even tests to identify the cause also differed from case to case. For instance blood test, x-rays, MRI, CT scans etc.,
Apart from medication doctors may advise the following for your chronic knee pains.  Because everyone who is suffering from knee pain need not undergo surgery.
Injections as remedy – Depends on the nature the case / knee pain it may be treated with injections and can be cured.
Medication – Doctor may prescribe medicines / tablets, oils to apply on knees.  You need to take complete course of the medication to get rid of your knee issues and pains.
Knee strengthening exercises – Some cases doctor may advise knee strengthening exercises.  You need to do with at most care under supervision of physician to get maximum benefit out of it.
Knee Surgery – depends on your knee condition doctor may advise you to go for knee surgery.  There are different types of knee surgeries (For instance Plica Surgery, knee cap replacement, Meniscus Repair etc.,).  As the knee surgery topic is big enough to deal.  We will deal in separate post in this very same blog later days.
