What is diabetes and types of diabetes?
Diabetes is one of the most dangerous threats for mankind.  It brings down the energy and capabilities of person drastically. Even though diabetes itself is not a disease but it will create to path to invite many diseases like eye issues, stomach, kidney, foot issues, Blood pressure, cardiac and many issues.  In simple language diabetes damage body cells and the body cells quickly become inactive.  As a result body becomes weak over a period of time.  If one can make the cells active back it is possible to get rid of diabetes.  How to make cells are explained in simple language in this article in another section.

Diabetes categorized into two categories like type 1 diabetes and type 2 diabetes. Type 1 diabetes we see in children.  Children body totally depends on insulin. 

Pancreas is the main organ.  Functionality of the organ makes difference for either Type 1 or Type 2 diabetes patients.   In type 1 patients (children) the pancreas cells are damaged abnormally therefore pancreas cannot produce insulin to convert sugar into energy.  As a result sugar levels increases in body.  The patients need insulin (injection) to control the sugar levels.  In type 1 diabetes case body immunity system attacks on body instead of helping body. 

What are common symptoms of diabetes?
Symptoms of type1 diabetes: 
·         Urine sensation or frequent and excess urination
·         Frequent feeling of thirsty
·         Vomit sensation and or vomiting
·         Losing weight,  sleep issue, head ache, vision issues and speedy heart rate etc.,

In type2 diabetes cases even though pancreas functions but it is not functioning at its full capacity.  Reasons for the type 2 are most of the cases genetic and change in food habits and life style.

Symptoms of type2 diabetes:
·         Cuts and wounds takes long time to heal
·         Feeling thirsty and hungry
·         Tiredness
·         Frequent and excessive urination particularly in nights

Is diabetes disease?
Diabetes is not a disease like all other diseases.  But I personally feel that it is dangerous body disorder needs to be corrected.  Else it will lead to many diseases like blood pressure, heart attack, kidney issues, eye issues etc.,

Reasons for fast spreading diabetes
There are many reasons helping to spread the diabetes very quickly. 
·         Awareness in people particularly in developing countries like, India, Pakistan, Bangladesh, Afghanistan, Middle East etc., people do not have awareness.  Until unless they suffer from the diabetes issues.  Need more awareness.
·         Changed food habits and life style is contributing a lot to spread the diabetes in people.  Over past 30 to 35 years food habits are changed a lot.  Modern food habits and life style (no punctual food intake habits) .
·         No proper sleep is one of the reasons to develop diabetes.  Due to outsourcing jobs and 24/7 shifts people are not caring about proper sleeping.  A normal person requires 7.30 to 8 hours of sound sleep per day.
·         Genetic also one of the reason helping to spread the disorder on its own way.

Is diabetes curable?
The truth is yes in most of the cases.  But people mindset is fixed answer ‘No’.  In early stages of diagnose it is curable with food.  Believe me it is possible by changing strict food habits for at least 3 months.  I was diabetes person for last 5 years.  My sugar levels were as high as 380 after food and 270 in fasting when diagnosed days.  Believe me I am not using any medicine for last 5 months.  I have changed my food habits and my food itself is working as medicine.  But you must strictly follow on regular basis.  Food habits are detailed in different section in this article below.
Best Food habits for diabetes
Believe me the food you take makes whole difference on your diabetes.  As I promised in earlier part of this article.  Diabetes person body cells become inactive over a period of time.  To make cells active back again we need to take lively food (Yes I mean what I say.  You must take the food which has got life in it.  Not the food which is dead.)  It is explained in subsequent part of this article. It is very imperative that what is the food you take, how you take and when you are taking.  You must follow good habits.  I will try to simplify the same for your understanding.
Food for diabetes
The food you take must be lively not dead one.  For instance Fresh orange juice got life where as Orange juice packed in tin/bottle doesn’t have life and it will not help us in any way.  If you look at it through microscope you will find movement/life in Fresh Orange juice.  But you can’t see any movement in bottled juice.  The following are some of the best food with life.  You may please refer the for food plans and how to consume in a separate page or post.
All kind of seasonal Fruits, green vegetables, leafs, dry fruits, almonds, cashew, groundnut are best food for anyone to take particularly diabetes people.
Food you must avoid
The food a diabetes person must avoid is as follows. 
·         Packaged food like biscuits, cool drinks, package juices etc.,
·         Animal food like Chicken, mutton, fish and any non-veg items
·         Refined food like refined oil, refined salt, refined sugar etc.,
·         Milk and milk products

Tips for diabetes people
I will plan separate post on tips for diabetes, I would like to include here in this article more important and helpful tips.

·         Forcibly include raw vegetable and fruits in your lunch dinner and breakfast
·         Please do not skip your meal
·         Maintain same timings daily for breakfast, dinner and lunch. Do not change your timings.  Keep margin of maximum 15 minutes.  It is very important.
·         Sleep Minimum 8 hours sleep.
·         Try to go to bed as early as possible.
·         Avoid night shifts and night jobs
·         Whenever you feel hungry take fruits instead of junk food
·         Avoid all kinds packaged food like biscuits, drinks packed in bottles/tins.
·         Avoid food prepared with refined oils
